A couple of days ago I felt and heard a hard knock from the mid section of my FX35 and then the car felt like it went into neutral. However it was not in neutral but in 5th gear and it stayed stuck there no matter what i did. I was traveling about 30 MPH on even road with no sudden stop or anything, it just happend. I was less then a mile away from the dealer/service center and decided to take it in. Today I was informed that the throttle valve body needs replacement. The part alone is $1,700, plus labor!! I am very lucky because my warranty expired last April 24th but because I was under 70K miles, Infiniti decided to cover it under warranty.
