Yea GTspec seems to popular among Infiniti owners...so what are the PROS & CONS of having a strut bar?

^^ dont forget to mention the lead time to get the item (they sometimes have to make more for your order)
Cons - It's POSSIBLE you might need to check the front alignment after installing the brace. Also, if you ever plan to go FI, there could be clearance issues.
Pros - It looks sweet. It really does improve feel when cornering, and definitely strengthens the structure in the engine bay as well as the front suspension. From a performance point of view, it makes your FX more robust. And the 2 hundy is about standard for any STB available for the FX. Worth it, IMO.

So install the strut bar then check alignment or check the alignment first before installing?

you can check the alignment after the install, but installing the STB should not change the alignment.

dont think its going to have a clearance issue if you get FI

Forced Induction (FI) = SuperCharger (SC) OR turbo (T or TT).
I agree the STB should not impact your alignment, but watch for tire wear - this was my experience. Not sure if it was the STB or some other suspension problem that wore the tires. Since I've had an alignment, no problems. It might have been unrelated, but was a pretty decent coincidence.
