Strong Strut Brace Installed

LOL, there is no not getting along here on IS. At times, it may seem as that is the case with the expression of different views and opinions but there are no hard feelings between any of the members. At least I hope that is the case.
 
No hard feelings at all :biggrin:. Anyone who post threads on the internet should expect to hear both pros & cons. If you can't take criticism, then think twice about posting. There will always be people with opposing views. That's part of the beauty.

Overkill is not a good thing when it comes to saving some weight. The Stillen bar appears to be a very well designed piece for the price point.

it's really not even a question of the difference in price. Very hard to prove either way, but the Stillen actually may be the better performing piece.

I know .. I was just exaggerating on the price. I'm with Dave, no doubt that it looks sturdier and stronger than the Stillen but on my daily driver it doesn't really make that much of a difference, in other words, to me it's just a bar. It's not like I'm putting my FX in a show where I have to show anyone what's under the hood either.
 
I like how it kind of goes with the look of the stock engine cover. I'm currently looking for a strut bar, too. I'd love to get my hands on a carbon fiber one.
 
while this is a very nice 'bar', GTSPEC has an additional option available. Were waiting on photos from our vendor, Z1
UTRevolution was working on a CF bar, but it never came out of the concept stage.

I was on the InfintiFX.org site and they had a long thread about this... and why the Strong Strut bar was superior... then they had a group sale at $200 to clear them all out which I missed... at $200 I know which bar I would buy... they are supposedly comoing out with a $200 - $250 bar soon as they had a hard time selling bars in the $400+ pricepoint... so I wait...
 
A few months ago I wrote to them wondering if there were still making them and I was told the market was so small, they did not have plans to make anymore. I just got an email from them saying they may if anyone is interested. Since then, Ive been done a lot of research and I like the GTSpec the best. But if anyone is interested, give them a call or email.

Haha - I did the exact same thing about a year ago! They gave me the same story then as well. I remember being disappointed, but I went with the GTSpec and never looked back! Good luck on getting a GB together - this is definitely top quality design and materials - but you pay for it...
