Ok when I'm driving down seems any road surface I get a weird hum noise coming from front right side? It's most pronounced at 55mph but can be heard 50-60mph. At low speeds nothing before 50 or after 60 can't hear it. I thought it might be my old tires but got new ones with an alignment and still hear it. Any ideas? Wheel bearing?

If it the noise frequency increase with speed, pretty sure its your hub bearing starting to go.

I think you can get those wheel bearings for dirt cheap if you don't go OEM from dealership and replace them yourself following a DIY here on the forum. It was pretty simple and I am not too mechanically inclined nor do I have many tools to play around with.

Just wondering...
If the factory hub bearings went bad at 50,000 why buy "quality"? I bought a set from rockauto.com for under $50 each, total was about $105 for both shipped. I think I'll get 50,000 or more out of them, but even if they last 25,000 still comes out a lot cheaper than buying quality for 3 times or more the price. Job is easy enough to do.

Hi,

Anyone can help me which part numbers for these to get from rockauto - front and back would be much appreciated.

I think mine is starting to go bad as i have that humming noise at certain highway speed only, like i have a hole in my exhaust but i checked few days ago and my exhaust was fine so i'm thinking it is my hub/bearing.

Thanks,
