Hey guys,

Haven't been active lately, but getting back into it. I'm getting my stock 20" wheels powder coated black on tuesday (also going to have my grille painted to patch). I am stuck between whether I should do a matte black with 20% gloss (Cardinal T002 BK08) or a semi-gloss (40% gloss). I was hoping to find more pictures of the 1st gen graphite color FX with these wheels, but I didn't come across many. Maybe you guys know where some better pics are hiding! What are your guys' opinions on color? In my opinion, too matte looks cheap, but at the same time I'm also not a big fan of high gloss. I was thinking the matte with 20% would be a happy medium; the 40% almost seemed too glossy.

Thanks for your feedback. fyi, also replacing my spark plugs with NGK :smug:

Wheels/grille turned out great! Will post pics soon. I did notice though that it seems like my rear rotor hats and brake calipers are pretty rusted. Why is the rear wheels significantly more rusted than the front? I think I'm going to paint these so it doesn't look as ugly. Any recommendations on color and type of paint? I found this from a G35 guy

Seems like it works pretty good...what is the best way to go about painting the hats and calipers without removing?

Thanks,
Alex
