Hello,

Still new to the scene - thought you guys might be interested in some pics!

I've only had the FX for 3 weeks now, so nothing done to it yet - and it rained the night before I took the pic, so it wasn't the cleanest :( However, I do have a polished Stillen STB, and billet front grills (powdercoated black) (THANKS GIL!) waiting to be installed. Also waiting on delivery Stillen Z-tube to go with K&N drop in. H&R springs and hopefully some KYB struts soon to follow, as well!

As for the other ride - 1997 BMW Z3 2.8 Mods include: Hamann 19X8.5, 19X10 wheels, H&R springs, Bilstein Shocks, Custom Short Shifter out of Z4, Chrome Roll Bars, M-Roadster side gills, Racing Dynamics Air Intake with K&N Cone Filter.

Let me know what you guys think!

Very nice. I like the sport package on the silver.

whats going to be your first mod?

LA guy . . . I say a good Drop would be the first thing to do. RW or AWD?

Well, I have Stillen STB (polished) and front billet grilles (powdercoated black) (both from Gil, on this forum) I also have a Stillen Z-tube and K&N on the way. I'll probably go with with Z-tube, and K&N, as the first mods, with the STB to follow, shortly thereafter.

Really itchin to get it dropped on H&R's, but am also waiting to see the outcome of the KYB group buy, so I could do that all at once. However - Do you think the struts should be replaced with 45K on the clock? Is that necessary?

Sounds like you have a nice plan so far. When your ready to lower, the labor will be $120 just to install the springs at Street Image in Baldwin Park. They do really good work.

If I remember correctly, I don't think you have to change the shocks. But I'm sure other members will chime in on this.

Thanks for the 411, 626FX - mind if I hit you up, when I get closer to putting the suspension in?

Yeah, sure no problem. Just pm me when your ready. Who knows, we might run into eachother before that at a meet or on the 605. hahahaha:wink:

Your going to love it. Especially when they take it on the test drive and you see them pulling back in the drive way with your lowered FX.

Best feeling ever. hahahaha

You should also add the Factory AWD Rear Sway bar to the list.

do you think this will make a big difference compared to the GTSPEC rears? What do you guess the parts all cost? Can someone do a sticky on the rear sway:nerd: (part #s)? I still need to get this done also. My rear GTSPEC bars are coming this month also:top:
thnx:biggrin:

Call Joe & he can put a package together for you. Worth it? 100%. Works great with GT Spec rears
