Steering wheel not level

Hey all. I have a bit of a problem.
Last night doing stupid stuff, I hit a small curb(the one's that are used in parking spaces) going 10 or 15 mph. It was hard but did not stall the engine. I thought I messed up my suspension. I checked the left front wheel for any damages and can not see any.
Today going on a straight road I notice that the steering wheel was tilted slightly to the left(about -5 deg.). I test the alignment, it is perfect.

I hold the steering wheel straight at 0 deg and the car turn slightly right.
It is not that noticeable but is annoying me. I am afraid that I might of messed up my control arm.
What do you think this could be??
I don't want to go to the stealership and get ripped off.
Also since it is a 06 with 27K miles, do you think it might be under warranty?
How long is the typical warranty good for?

Thanks in advanced -Erhan

Wheel alignment is okay...it's your steering wheel that is off center. This happened on my Nissan Sentra, hit a huge pothole and the steering wheel went off center. Car goes straight, but the steering wheel is off center. Just take it to get that properly aligned, that's it.

Warranty for alignment is good for only 1 year or 12,000 miles.

I had the same problem with a jeep after I wrecked it. I broke the control arm and the front of the car was F***ed and cost $12K to fix.
When I got it back, it was like that as well.

Any way, since it is not the wheel alignment, would it be covered.
How much do you think it would cost.
Also I am afraid if I bent the control arm or steering shaft.

If your steering wheel position is different after an impact then you most likely have bent something----Have it checked out and an allighnment is in order as well.

Alignment will fix it although it goes straight and does not pull?
Ok.
I am going to change the tires so I can get it aligned.
Should I do an alignment at the dealership? they are a bit pricey.
I usually go to tire kingdom for $70. Would they fix the steering wheel prob.?

Dealer will always rape you. I always do my alignment at a wheel shop that has one of the fancy alignment machines.

I've done this at least once, maybe twice. First time it kinda knocked the steering wheel off a tad, second time it was off a quarter turn. The first time though, and alignment fixed it.
