Hi all,
Today after reading out some faults on my '09 FX50S i found a following code:
B2119: Steering column adjustment fwd/aft sensor failure
This fault could not be reset so there is really something going on there.
As this must be some sort of slide that measures the travel of the column i could imagine it's worth inspecting and cleaning it before buying a new one.
I did a search here on the forum but did not find anything useful, most is about the wheel angle sensor.
But i remember reading something about it, and am quite sure it was here on the forum but can't find it anymore.
Does anybody have some in-depth information about this faulty sensor?
To me this also explains why my comfort setting for retracting the seat and lift the steering wheel on exit does not work i guess.
