Stebel Horns

Just got these in the mail today, can't wait to install them this weekend.. :evil:

Stebel'e Magnum Horn Combo:
The high tone horn is 136dB @ 500hz and the low tone horn is 136dB @ 410hz. Together the two horns measure 139dB @ both 410hz and 500hz.

Stebel's compact twin tone air horn:
Output of 139dB @ frequencies of 530Hz and 680Hz.

Nice! One of my very first mods was adding a third tone to the existing two. I called it my, "tri-tone" horn mod. Post video with sound after your install!

@theMerchant: If I remember correctly, you mentioned somewhere on here that the FX35 stock horns are 400 and 500 hz. But do you know @ what dB??

@vINCe_Inc: I'll try to take some pictures while installing it. But you know... some times when you are fixing something, you tend to forget until it's all done.. So I'll try to remember..

(What I got is basically the "BIG MAMMA COMBO" But I purchase them separately cause it's cheaper that way.)

Oringinally I was thinking about replacing the OEM horns with the Stebel Magnum combo, then add 2 Stebel Nautilus compact air horns. But I figure that might be a little too much. So now I'm just replaceing the 2 OEM horns with Magnums and add just 1 Nautilus compact. But now I wonder what it would sound like if I just add the 3 Stebel horns on top of the 2 OEM ones? hehe :evil:

On my last car, I had 2 Hella compressors pushing 3 trumpet air horns, so when I got the FX, I felt like the horns were weak as hell. Therefore, I have to do something about it..(plus I can't leave sh!t alone) And I know someone is gonna ask... Why the hell would I need horns that loud? Well, lets just say.. you've never driven in Philly.

I just did a very detail write up on this... when I submit it, it said something about token has expired?! Now everything is gone.. WTF??? I don't have time to do another one.. since I have just wasted 2 hours of my time.. ARRgg....
