Does the SMG idle forward if you aren't on the gas, or will it roll backwards like a manual on a hill?

Yeah it was wierd...we were on a driveway, the car went to neutral and started rolling backwards into the street....
Bert has no clue how to drive this trans...
I think hes going to kill himself....lol

Sounds alot like the F1 transmission. It's scary with those because you can't jump on the gas when you start rolling. When I was in the F430 I was worried I would roll backwards into a car, or fly into the one in front of me.Yeah it was wierd...we were on a driveway, the car went to neutral and started rolling backwards into the street....

So with SMG, do you need to manually bring it down? If so, could be confusing going back & forth from the FX. Does it also offer launch control?

NO launch control.... I still have to play around with it.
Final test will be taking it to be take a look at with a BMW tech..
Plan on driving it daily after I get use to it in about a month.

Bert if you told everyone what has happened within the last 6months when this project originally started and the amount of money you have poured into this to see it through I think most would have called it quits! Hang in there and everything will eventually get done.

yeah, honestly his FX looks rediculous with the Titans on....the offset is horribly wrong by about 2"...and thats WITH 20mm spacers
