spring install

ok, who's Janice? I don't think I have met her yet. I just passed 60k miles on the FX so I may take it to LMS for some lube fluid changes too. Maybe Janice will be extra friendly to me since I sent all you guys there, :laugh:. I hope yo azzzzz feels better Gil. I'll send you my bill :rofl:.
 
i have not installed springs on any other cars but i have done engine/trans swaps with my dad and my friend is pretty much a mechanic (all he does but not "official")
If you ever do a write up humberto we would appreciate it. Whn we do it we will try to document everything i guess
 
Janice is a little older... but no doubt she's a "looker"... told me that she works out regularly... which is why I'm really curious how her daughter looks like... to my understanding her daughter is "old enough" :biggrin:
 
Here in Edmonton I was charged $80-$100 per corner labour alone.

The stealership charges a $660 flat rate for spring install.

Springs were $360.

I spent a lot on this one. ....oh well.

I think you got raped. You should've mentioned that other FX'ers have referred you there and they have gotten their installation price @ $240.

I think Will and I only paid $240 for install.

When I called 2 weeks prior I was asked if I had a quoted price. I mentioned to them that I had my springs installed by them back in 05 for $280. I was told that labor has gone up since then so the price will be more than what I paid back in 05. I'm happy with the work they did, no complaints at all. I took the new price as inflation.

Also.....his secretary is was very nice to me.:6wink:
