Any mechanics in the NYC area willing to install lowering springs on a Lexus IS for me? Tried tackling the job solo and got one corner done before calling it quits in this cold weather and reverting back to stock.

I have a 2 car garage we can use, or can come to you. Also have all the torque specs, etc. Was planning on waiting until after winter to lower the car but this 4x4 status is driving me nuts.

Thanks!

Pat

I'l buy you a cup of hot coffee if you let me watch you try to do the swap again in this frigid weather. :clown:

Your in si or bk? I know someone who works mostly on lexus but in si

Both are good. SI is actually better for me on weekends. Can you PM his info? Thanks!

Even though it was in a garage it was quite the experience. Might look into getting one of those mini heaters if attempting this again anytime soon.

One winter in Dallas our heater went out, and it got into the 50s inside the house. We ended up getting a couple of these to keep the house semi warm. When I put the rear sway on about a year ago I had to have the garage open for work room, and used them to keep me warm. If you can close the garage, and get some space heaters, it might be doable without freezing.

Thanks Soon, messaged him and his pricing is pretty fair, only downside is that he is located in LI. Will shoot you a message on when/where the spring install will be
