Sport tails question

Hi,


I am starting to piece together a set of sport tails (inner & outter) individually to see if I can save some money doing it this way, my question is for the sport tails are there more than 1 kind? for example is there like a regular chrome color and a smoke color? I already found the outters which are smoke but when matching up with the inners I dont want to get a set of chrome while my outters are smoke. Sorry for the confusion if I dont make any sense. Thank you in advance for your help.
 
No there are only one set out sport tail lights (no chrome, just smoked). But there are pre and post recall tails, however they are essentially the same smoked set for intents and purposes.

They are the same, however certain lighting conditions and angles make it look brighter and sometimes darker. They are not bright like the non sport headlights, so no worries. Sometimes when im standing next to my car, the chrome is a little lighter. When i look at my car from the 2nd floor at my work, its smoked.
Try infinitipartsusa for the inners. they seem to have the cheapest prices around and itll be listed as "dark colored' parts.
 
Thanks for your help, for the outer taillights can I just get the lens to swap out or is there electrical wires or harness that I need as well? Thanks

If I remember correctly, turbo found that the clear tails do have a variation between them. It's not a purposeful variation, just an effect of the manufacturing process. Make sure the set that you get matches close enough for your tastes.

Thanks i`ll keep an eye out for that, another ques I had was how durable are the LEDs in the outer taillights? Has anyone here ever had a single blown LED? Thanks

Should be all clear, but to be safe I would call before ordering. I know at least one other person ordered from there for all clears.
