Speed Bleeders

Had SS versions on my race bike...after every race weekend, bled my brakes and these worked like a champ. For my application, it was perfect.

Seems like it's a good thing to have if you do your own brakes. I wouldn't trust any shop to know what they are unless I told them.

I'm running ATE Super Blue brake fluid and have to supply the fluid to anyplace that is going to touch the brake system. Freakin dealership topped off my Super Blue with regular fluid, dangit. Had to flush the whole system and had TOLD them not to touch the brakes!

I assume you attach a small hose to the speed bleeder so you can actually see when the air is gone and only clear fluid is coming out?

very easy to use and I was shocked at how fast I was able to bleed the brakes. I used the 'one man bleeder' bottle I had and it came with a "T" and 2 extra short hoses. I connected both bleeders on caliper and pumped and checked and pumped and no more bubbles. The check valve worked and it didnt allow air to go back in during the pumping. great product.... only gripe is the cheap dust caps.

Hi Merchant,

They have SB1010 and SB1010S wich is few millimeters shorter.
Which is the correct choise? I've ordered SB1010S.
Guy from SpeedBleeders wrote me:

"I do not have a listing for your vehicle so I cannot confirm the size. Are there 2 bleeders per caliper? "
"2 bleeders per caliper takes the SB1010S. Every caliper that I have come across requiring 2 bleeders has taken the SB1010S. "

On the stock first gen brakes you only need one per caliper. On the Akebono upgrade you need 2 per caliper.

Does anyone know what size fits the rear on an 08 FX AWD? I bought a set of 4 and the rears are smaller than the front, any help would be appreciated.

Speed Bleeders are great. I put them on everything I own. Keep caps on them to keep debris out of them. Don't let stupid mechanics work on your machine because they will screw up the Speed Bleeders. They don't know what they are.
That's why we work on our own machines.
