SPC needs FX for camber issue

bump! after complaining we don't get camber fixes, SPC is now offering to give us just that but no one can test for us...

Exactly what I was saying in the Ark exhaust thread for the FX50. Everyone complains of no aftermarket support, then a sweet offer comes up and no one takes it.

exactly! i'm working with ARK to get them an FX50, at least thats in cali and something I can try to help with...if you guys want to sponsor me to ship my car to SPC I will or get someone local there to just go in! maybe even a dealer!

There is a couple of members I seen here that are from Denver... all it takes is probably a couple days of R&D thas all... All we ask is a couple of days to get a camber kit

+1, that sounds like a good idea too, renting an FX...SPC needed it for a few days? I'm down to pitch in for the rental FX if anyone else here wanting a camber kit will also

I just checked Hertz @ Denver International, its about $57/day, I would go rent it myself but you have to be 25+

How about we get the money together and have them rent it ..that would save someone a trip there....

I am down for that, what does everyone think, let's get money together and let SPC rent an FX!

Rip you should see if they're willing to take money to rent an FX themselves...?

That's a good idea Lerry and Dwayne, I'm going to ask Chris at SPC and see if he is willing to do this. If he says yes, I'll ask him how many days he needs an FX for and the cost of the rental. If this all works out we can get a list of people who are willing to throw down on the rental.

Count me in for the rental fee....
I want those camber arms made so I can order D2 coil-over for my 09 FX35:top:
right now I have to go with H&R springs only...:mad.:

Actually We should be hearing good news soon for the front Arm. I'm working with Chris on getting it fitted :)

But the final decision on the rear (where the WORSE camber really is) is that they won't make a replacement arm, just the bolt design with stock arm.

theres D2 coil overs for our cars?

when I were searching for coil-over system for my 09 FX35 I found this D2 Racing - RS 36 Way Coilovers - Infiniti FX35 2009-Up

I have not called them to make sure they can fit my 09FX35 yet because of the camber issue
if they will not fit FX35 then I just go with BC coil-over system but I would really like to have this D2 system on my ride.

I spoke with Chris at SPC regarding a rental and he is already talking to a rental company. He also said they wont be making camber arms for the rear but it will be a bolt kit. This what he said:

We’re working with a rental company to trade an occasional alignment for occasional use of a car. Hopefully this will work out well. In the meantime, I have Kevin, who is going to try 350Z arms with 370Z balljoints some time next week. He is also verifying which rear camber/toe bolt kit (350Z or 370Z) is the correct one for the FX35. I can tell you that we will NOT be doing a camber arm for the rear of the vehicle, as the factory arm incorporates a shock mount, so our “EZ arm” style won’t work. Then again, we’ve learned that the camber is limited by toe anyway, so the bolt kit gives nearly as much adjustment as the arm anyway.

Thank you Rip! Please keep us updated on the fix and if they still need the funding to do it. Let's get this ball rolling faster! It's been too long for suspension mods for this car
