Which plugs do we use??? I got an email from Infinitipartsusa.com where they are selling plugs for $5.75 a piece, so I thought I would pick some up.

They have 2 listed......

PFR5G (22401-1P115)
PFR6G (22401-1P116)

5 would be oem range.
6 would be 1 step colder.

Myself I use LFR6A-11(one step colder).. I do not like the platinum tip. Plus they only cost $5.51 at sparkplugs.com

Is there any benefit in goin colder? Im gonna hit up Joe and see if he will match it hahahaha gonna save me a quarter on each plug:top:

Usually you only need colder plugs for every 50-100 extra hp above stock. The colder plugs better dissipate the heat from the combustion cycle into the cylinder heads.

Why dont you like the platinum tips Jeff? Do you think I need to go colder or will OEM be ok?

Will, it shouldn't make a difference really, but I went 1 colder and there has been no ill effects. With your tune you can probably go 1 colder without any issues.

I am cheap and like coppers, they conduct electricity better and are cheaper(did I mention cheaper:biggrin:). Platinums last longer but I like gapping my own plugs and changing them often.

Tuner >>> Copper
Don't like changing plugs >>> Platinum

I am trying to find OEM spark plugs, I tired infinitipartsusa.com and used PFR5G (22401-1P115) to search with no results.. I also tried LFR6A-11 in the search, with no luck.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase OEM spec'd plugs (no need for +/- colder, hotter) at a cheap/reasonable price?

Thanks in advance..
