Hello all: Just received some new NGK Laser Platinum plugs that I'm about to install. Thought they came pre-gapped and also thought that the gap should be around .043 per some searches on the IS but all the plugs are all coming up to be just right around .040. Should I expand them to .043 or leave as is? Many thanks for any help rendered.

Crickets...Anyway, I gapped the plugs to .043 and installed. Some of those ignition coil connectors were pretty hard to get to and remove but I was able to unsecure the wire harness from its securing points enough to pull the ignition coils up while leaving the connectors in place. That seemed to have save me some time rather than fiddle with trying to unplug the connectors and lose some skin in the process...Next PM item will be new rotors & pads. Then probably the Invidia exhaust.
