Spark plug change. Been quoted $300.

Spark plugs aren't hard, just painfully slow for what sounds like a simple procedure. There's lots of stuff in the way of the plugs that you need to move or work around. I think the only thing I needed to buy was a spark plug removal socket. It has a magnet in it to make it easy to pull out the old and drop in the new.

Should you first tighten the spark plug with your hand to prevent cross threading?

A question. Now that I have a CAI,the HFCs,plenum spacer & the Invidia Exhaust. What plugs should I get? I am concerned that I might be a bit lean. Should I be concerned or should I just get the NGKs and be done with it. Btw I have 49k miles on my whip.

I went with the NGK's and i went 1 step colder than stock with them.

Honestly though, you should be slightly concerned in that you are most definitely going to be running lean. I highly suggest looking into and getting your Car Uprev tuned.

When my car went on the dyno, the first thing the tuner did was dial in the AFR, it was so lean, that until that adjustment was made he couldn't do anything else.

After the AFR he could dial in the rest of the variable, which is where the plugs start to come in, going one step colder than stock give the tuner the ability to advance the timing further than what he can do normally.

EDIT: getting plugs besides the NGK's are not going to do anything to help the fact that you are running lean.
