South Bay Meet - Thurs 10/2

Ok Allen. So Gordon wants to join us in the caravan out there. So I was thinking we can take the 60 to the 710. Gordon lives in that area. Maybe we can exit on Atlantic really quick and take off from there or I can call him before we hit Atlantic and he can hop on and join in.

Thinking about it - Im in OC tonight, so its a bit of a drive to Southbay. If enough regulars go out I will go.
May ride is filthy from the road trip last weekend.

The Southbay is a drive for us too and I wake up at 5:45am also.

Bert cant make it.....I havent heard back from Ken yet.
 
Ah damn. Thats right, Ken is working late I think he had said. Bert is probably still busy with moving. I know that gets pretty hectic.

im staying over my friends house... gotta try out his aprillia... ^_^ ill be there till 10pm or so... Ken has work till 9 so he cant make it... should be a good turn out... peace out! be safe! ill take pictures

They close the gates and make people leave around 10 or 1030. Probably not worth it Mike since you dont get out til 8.
 
Hey guys . . . you probably wont read this until later, but I couldnt go. I have to watch the kids. It was 50/50 earlier, but it ended on the wrong 50. Things like this were easier in my single days. Oh well, next time . . . . & my ride was oh so shinyeeeee tonite :embarrassed:

It was just impossible to have time to get home and out there tonight. Trying to squeeze 5 days of work in 4 days means long azz days(12-14 hr days this week) I really want to get out there to hang out for a few hrs, possibly next time.

A The Hat meet or Hooters sounds cool.........on a Friday evening.
 
Talk about act of God. I've been sitting on this Paid Detail Rain-Check for over a moth now. So I decided to take the FX to Car wash this morning to get it detailed, engine and all.

Called about 5:00 to see if it's ready and they said in about 1/2 hour. By the time I made it there after my meeting, it was 6:30pm. They were CLOSED.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I had to take my wife's QX56 to the meet.:frown:

Now that completely sucks . . . & an act of Gd. Just wasnt meant to be I guess, . . . as was me not going either.
