now i have read many threads about vibration on the FX.. so ill will post a few solutions for a few vibration problems that i have encounter.

1.Vibration when breaking:

The Cause of This problem is usually Rotors or( bad pads?)

Solution: change your pads.. if the problem persist you could take your FX to a mechanic shop and get the rotors shaved, this is just a bandaid for a big wound(temporary solution) so i just simply recommend for you to buy new Rotors.

2.Vibration when accelerating(usually from 60-80mph)

The causes of this problem are suspencion alignment, wheel tires balanced, HUB assembly.

Solutions: Get a alignment.

for the wheel and tires balanced: make sure your tires dont have anything inside(ie water) just happenned to me recently one of my tire had a nail in it.. and somehow during the rain water got in it making the wheel unbalanced which cause the vibration when i used to accelerate.

Solution: get your tires and wheel check and balanced.

Wheel HUH assembly: along with this vibration problem you will hear this annoying sound coming from the side the wheel hub have gone wrong..

Solution: Replace your wheel HUB.

for all IS member feel free to correct me and/or post your experience and solutions for vibration problems. ill be updating this thread everytime i encouter a different vibration problems. hope you find this helpfull.:iS::tup:

Here's another source of vibration. After doing all the other things (hub assembly replacement, tire rotation and balancing, brake rotors replacement) and my problem still not resolved, I am starting to believe that this is the problem.

Problem: Vibration felt from slow speed to about 65 mph and starts to disappear after 65+ mph. The higher the speed the less the vibration and at around 80 mph the vibration almost completely disappeared.

Solution: Driveshaft U-joint, lubricate or replace.
