Good day all from UK

I will soon be the proud owner of a FX5.0 and i couldn't be happier.
I wanted something a bit fresher and faster than my 55 plate Lexus RX400H. This car has given me so much driving pleasure and reliability beyond belief.
300 miles from a full tank with spirited driving cant be bad. Room for my family and my 15" rockford sub.
However it was time for a change and no other suv i looked at and drove has the road presence this FX had.... nothing came close.
Im not one to leave my cars standard, i owned an aristo with 400hp which i also enjoyed very much.
The FX's bhp may seem like plenty to some but as i plan to keep this car for no less than 5 years id like to hike the power up at some point with a supercharger/turbo kit. I hope one is available. If my lexus rx400h could've been tuned to get more power, id probably have kept it a bit longer. However its been traded for the FX.
Its black with black interior but i would probably wrap it and change the alloys.

Welcome! Unfortunately, I don't know of a kit for the 5.0... But if you find one and it ends up being a light undertaking to instal, I'd love to take a peek.

Coming from a hybrid to the thirsty VQ, 5.0 no less either, you're in for a real shocker!

I don't have the 5.0, but have the 3.5 and 3.7 in the G, but this was something I already knew and expected the thirstiness of these engines. Power doesn't come for free thats for sure.

Anyways, enjoy and hope the smiles per miles will make you not mind the pumps!
