Sold my FX tonight.... :(

I'll skip the "best forum" speech as we all know how awesome iS is. And for the reason be assured I'm not leaving, just an FX-less member. Maybe in a future I'll get into a 45 or 50.
Got that right. Only reason I wouldn't return to the forum as a new owner is because the FX is too well rounded, and I think I'll have nothing but specialties from here on out. Big ol' truck for towing, race car for racing, and gas-sipper for commuting. FX does none of those superbly, but does everything well.

Nice FX though.

Hehe. With the rate you're raking up those miles.... It might be well over 200k before I buy it lol

I work 3 miles from the dealership and barely drive it actually. i drive my M most of the time and the coupe she only put 28 miles in the past 2 months on it.

Ha. My bad. I thought it was you who had mucho miles on his 2nd gen. Apologies

Ah man sorry to hear that. Good luck to whatever you plan to do and hope to see you in the future! That was a beautiful FX!

How about the drag miles? 100K in 1/4 mile increments? =)

oh its just fun and shocked people when i went that day. amazing the fx50's i see on cars.com already w/ 100k miles still selling for $32k+

but these motors are just so strong!

I doubt anyone with an fx50 has a light foot

Was just reading through this thread again.....

Bumping it up to see if the new owner might've joined.....

How about your thoughts about selling it and how you've been coping since? Glad you've hung around here, but has it been as tough a loss as it seems? Come lay down on the couch and tell us how you *feel*. :)
Realistic thoughts on getting another one?
