SoCal Auto Detail

Detailed one of my favorite rides the other day. A Shelby, gt500.
With a few mods, this beast had 630 ponies.

Hard to see, but car was filled with light swirls.

Process:
1. Wash & Clay
2. Menz Super Intensive Polish on LC cyan cutting pad (rotary) / Meguiars M105 on LC purple foamed wool pad (rotary)
3. Menz PO85rd on LC finishing pad (rotary)
4. Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant & Pb trim restorer & Pb tire dressing & 303 Aerospace
car is looking good. i detailed one of these a few months ago. i think it was the same color.

my 2 complaints

1. stock ride height is about 4 fingers of gappage!! these cars need to be dropped, ford built them riding too high lol.
2. ugly ass tin foil, space ship silver stripes on the seats are nasty town, just nasty.

i like this car though, its a nice one & im not that into the stangs.

nice detail job.

Haven't posted in this thread in a while...
Thought I'd update this thread with some pics of a Parnelli Jones that I detailed this past Saturday. Didn't have time to take before pics, but it was sitting on a dealer lot for 3 yrs and was full of swirls, hard water spots, and caked armor all.

Process: Wash, clay, 2 step polish, trim restoration, carnuaba wax by hand.

Here are some after shots:

Lookin good Roy,

I'll be coming in soon for you to check out my ride.

Its amazing how good a work Roy does in such a fast time. Im not sure I want to wash my ride myself again.

Maybe Roy will confirm this on here but he did inform me this past Sat. that he is no longer detailing, has sold all his stuff and is now focusing on another occupation. :frown:
