its the +2 timing meet.. the fx45 beast is loaning out his cipher for us to use...so socal members are just gonna get it once and everyone to use...there is a meet coming up this sunday if you wanna come check it out the thread is called "socal meet"

do a search as I do not the exact specifics but I can say that the +2 timing increase is a timing increase that gives a better feel to your vehicle as well as do a slight increase in mpg's as well as smooth operation throught your power band. this can be done at the dealership but many may hassle about doing it as well probably charge you to do it which only take a few minutes. I am lending out my cipher which can do the increase so that's why there is a meet. you can go to the meet or get on the list but its easier to do it at the meet because less hassle as everyone else will be doing it there as well.

You must remember that if you do the +2 timing advance, you MUST use gasoline with a octane rating of 91 or higher.

Does it have to be a Consult or would a Snap-on or OTC Genisys work?
If its just a 2 degree advance without any other programming, I'm willing to try but if other parameters are programmed than I'll hold off.

Is it just modifying the baseline timing to be +2 or does it lock it to +2 and blocking out the knock sensor?

Anyhow, count me in for now. Even if I don't do the +2 I'd like to see what other people's experiences are.
