so my week old 35 is pretty much written off

I think the only good part on the front is the left headlight. I dont know whats going to happen to it and I really dont care. Once they pay off the loan amount, thats all I care about. I am kind of discouraged about pruchasing another since this was just a weel old vehicle. I might just insure my 92 honda 5 speed and keep it moving. But it depends on how I feel at that moment.

ask them what the buyback would be if you wanted to keep it & I may be willing to pay you like $1k over that. probably can't hurt to make an extra grand in the deal...

mmm yeah, that might be a problem, couldn't hurt to ask the claim rep though, they have to pay off the bank regardless, they may be willing to let you keep it, worse case the'd want to brand it 907a salvage. don't want to make any more headaches for you than you already have, but if you wanted to ask & see what they say...

The vehicle was totalled and they appraised it for more than I owe on it. I saw the stipped down and the frame is bent. The damage went way back to the engine. I dont know where the vehicle is right now. But its in my insurance company's hand. However they dont want to pay off the loan untill I get the title, which i dont have and wont have for another 3 months. So now I am paying for a total vehicle that is not in my possession. I called my finance company and they said they cant stop the payment on the vehicle.

I am actually not sure what I will do. I like the FX but would like one with tech and rear entertainment....which might be out of my budget. I am also looking at BMWs. mainly 2004 and newer 5 series. But I like the somewhat stress free infiniti with all the bells and whistles is comes with. I have a son so its just the right size vehicle for me.

The Five is a nice car. Drives great, safe, and plenty of room. Plus it comes in xdrive. Make sure its a 535 or above though as the smaller engine really dogs that size car imho. And if the maintenance is a concern just make sure its CPO. Let us know what you go with.

the new 535 is a tt, there really nice

Yeah it is. I think the new 535Xi Touring would be a near perfect all-round car for me. Fast, safe, spacious, practical. And just flash it and you have a monster sleeper too!

never really fast enough...

So true.

I have a friend with a 07 Noble M400 TT#4/15. This thing will make your ZR1, GTR and Carrera GT whimper in the corner. It reaches 60mph in 2.9s and hits the quarter in 10.98 @ 131mph. Plus it pulls 1.1g. I said to him "where do you go from here?!" only the Veyron is quicker in a straight line, and I think thats a little out of his price range to say the least. He's screwed.
