6 month ago, my wife gave birth to our first child. Immediately I felt the FX running out of space to haul stuff if we take the whole family out (3 humans + 2 dogs + all their gears). So after 6 mon long struggle, reasoning with myself and debating between my FX and her Murano, I have decided to let FX go. This is by far, one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make in my life as a man, but then family always has to come first.
I want to thank u'all for all the technical support where I never once had to bring my FX back into "stealership", and I have always felt eased knowing that I have u'all on my back in case I bumped into issues.
The new owner (a friend) will come pick her up in June as a wedding gift for himself, which somewhat makes me better about the change. Moving forward, I will be at Tundra forum, but I will stop by from time to time to say hi. Please stay well, guys. I'll see you around. Take care.
 
For what it is worth, I have two kids, one of which is 14 now... and I've had my FX since before she was born. Can the car get full? Sure. But so could my Tahoe if I pack it that way.
 
Just keep it, man. For the price they are worth now you may as well hold on. think about all the time and money you sunk into it over time....
 
It's amazing how many people compliment our FX's. every time i drive with someone new, they always compliment the ride and how nice it is.

I have a 2012 and everyone thinks its brand new because of how clean i keep it, but it's amazing to see how many people really like our rides.
 
You can always get a trailer hitch and a cargo box for the roof! I have a 4 month old and we use it everyday and like you said, there's not enough room, but the FX is such a nice ride to let go!

Now that I’ve looked at your chronicle it makes sense why you’re looking for cross bars.:cool:
