Hello everyone, Planning to purchase an fx45. Besides the packages they come in. Are there any difference between a 2003 fx45 and 2005 fx 45?
 
I think the ride in the 03 may be slightly stiffer but other than that there really aren't any differences between the 03 and the 05. If you believe in avaoiding the first production run of any car you should avoid the 03. There really aren't that many common problems reported for either model except bubbling dashboards (mostly in the southern climates) and wheel bearings going out.
 
there is no difference besides the fact that the 03 will have a stiffer ride than the others, and is the first production model. I would look for an 05.
 
Even though I drive an 05, I'd probably get an 06 if at all possible. The 06 has an updated interior. There aren't alot of differences but the console, cluster, and center stack look a little better. there's also some slight exterior changes as well.
 
Thank you for the replies! Reason i asked was if there were no major differences between the years then I would save a few $$$ buying an 03.
