Snow

Hey guys, hoping to get some opinion/advice.

wanna take the fx up in the snow for some skiing.
i just want to Know if the AWD is good enough mixed with the snow button to be safe and provide good traction.
Also, is a stock tire sufficient and safe?

Thanks in advance

Last year i drove with some crappy all seasons in a minor snowstorm to go skiiing and it wasn;t bad at all. i didn't have to use snow mode. traction control was going crazy tho. If you live in an area with minimal snow, i think some aggressive all seasons will work just fine as long as you stay your distance and be a smart driver. Try not to stop on an incline going up. The scary moment i had driving in all seasons during that trip was coming down a hill. i was controlling my speed by lighty on the brakes from the top of the hill down but i was sliding and there was a car infront of me! luckily i regained traction and stopped in time. after that, i said imma buy snow tires next season.

Great good to know. I got lots of snow experience so I guess it should be good. Going downhill---it helps to shift low-- 2 and sometimes 1

thamks again

I switch to my Blizzaks in the winter and for the most part I dont have to use the AWD lock/snow button and get by with no issues.
