Snow tire question

Well I have the 21” rims. I’m not going to use my 20” rims anymore and these tires need to get replaced that’s why I’m not sure if to stick with all season or go with winter tires.

Why not keep the 20’s and buy winters for it? Yes, it would entail more expense, but each set of tires will last twice as long mitigating the initial cost.

If you don't want a dedicated set of winter tires, and considering you're in the Northeast, you might want to look into these. I'd definitely go with all-weather tires over all-season tires.

If you only want one tire option, I second this recommendation.

I’m debating about these tires bc there’s a close out sale
Don't get these... My parents had these on their 530xi Touring... I remember sliding to stop signs all the time in my suburb when I took out their BMW... IMO the OEM 18's on my FX had better cold traction... Even the tiniest bit of ice and these things slid EVERYWHERE... And I'm not talking sheets of black ice either... It was a 3-way intersection I drove EVERY day, and sometimes several times in a day, so I knew it well, and these tires performed really poorly... BLIZZACKS or NOKIANs are still a much better option...

Wondering if anyone's gone a different direction with snow tires on the V8s: converting their (not cheap) Enkei 21"-ers to snow use and installing a 22" set with even lower profile rubber for the 50-plus-degree seasons? Realize tire size is limited in 265/45R21, but with the very tight clearance between the front calipers & OEM 21s--am concerned about stepping down a size.

Apparently the OEM 18's from the 1st Gen fit with 20mm spacers... So some have been using those for their winter tires... I'm sure the 2nd Gen 18's will fit as well with 20mm spacers...
