Snow Mode Switch stopped Working

Not that I would use it that often here in atlanta but for some reason the acceleration is the same with the switch on or off? Gosh, this is the first time I stomped on the throttle from a dead stop and this 50S put my stomach half way up my throat! I stopped driving agressively some time ago so I just havent pushed it this hard until now to test the snow mode. Just wondering if the wheels have to slip a little for the snow mode to kick in? The light on the switch does turn on and off.

I wonder if somehow the vehicle knows it doesn't need snow mode. For example, it could read the temperature and know there's no snow, and override it to prevent accidental activation of snow mode. I will turn mine on today and see if it does this also.

Is it connected? Some members have had work done to the fx under warranty and the dealer forgets to reconnect the switch. My dealer forgot snow and vdc switches.

No, no dealer warranty work since last oil change visit when the switch still worked.
Good point about snow and warm temps but as I grew up in Wisconsin we had plenty of above freezing days with a ton of snow on the roads. Dont really want to have the dealer screw with the switch under warranty as then the posibility exists that something else gets screwed up.

snow made only keeps it in 4wd up to a hight speed and it also kicks in the 4wd when less slip is detected as per normal mode. if you are not in snow you will notice no real difference. I live in edmonton alberta canada and drive with the snow mode all the time.

Used snow mode a couple days ago. Immediate difference noticed. Basically it cuts back the throttle a lot, so you have to almost mash it to even get moving. I turned it on while driving, and that helped make the difference more obvious.
