Love this car. I change the oil pretty religiously.
I have noticed that about twice a week when I start the car in the morning I get a small puff of white smoke out the exhaust. Its indeed small... as in if you were looking behind the car at the time you probably wouldn't notice it. Only in the A.M and not every time.
I recently changed the spark plugs out, with OEM Nissan plugs. I noticed some oil on the plug threads..... So I am thinking valve cover gaskets?
Am I correct in thinking that leaky valve cover gaskets would cause both the oil on the threads of the plugs as well as a small amount of oil soaking thru as the car sits all night and getting thru into the combustion chamber?
I also see that the gaskets might be a pretty common thing on these cars? Just not sure I want to dig into that job right away....
