Hmm can't see a reason the box for iPod connection would be way back in the trunk. Most after market boxes (MediaBridge, GROM Audio or iSimple) for external input hook up to back of the head unit via a "Y" type cable.

The iPod interface will look like a flat square box, most probably it's tucked on the side of the radio or behind it, with one cable going out to the head unit and another to your glove box.

confirmed I have isimple! so just follow that and disconnect from head unit and re plug sat right

It is easy, just pull away the front panel, gently, it's held by a few clips and then there is a ribbon cable that needs to be unplugged to completely set it aside, with that out of the way you will see the entire radio, you might be able to follow the iPod cable and unplug it without removing the radio, however if the XM/Sirius cable got tucked away behind it, then you might have to.

off topic but.. what do u think about CAN-AM premium 92 gasoline? i went across the border and gassed up there. i usually use 91 chevron in Canada

As to gas, 92 is not very common in Cali, I think I've only seen it in couple of gas stations, 91 is technically the highest standard one can get here, after 87 and 89.

However when I go to visit my folks in Europe I wonder how is it that they get 98 octane.
