UPDATE: I switched out my sirius module tday for the XM. I found a brand new XM module on ebay for $80...part# 28051-EH00A. Very easy...used my original sirius antenna also. You only have to shave off a little plastic stub from the XM module antenna input to make the sirius antenna connector fit. The hardest part was removing the plastic trim in the trunk to get to the module. The actual modules are identical except for the antenna plugs. I called Sirius and had them switch my subscription to the new radio, the only sirius channels you will lose are Howard Stern and Nascar, but if u pay $4 more a month for all access, u will get those back with the XM module. But I now have all the music channels I had with the Sirius module AND I now have the new channels 55 Utopia and 57 Y2kountry and gained some new sports channels like NFL. Also, for some reason I have better reception...I have underground parking and as soon as I would go past my gate, my sirius would always cut off. Now I can drive all the way to my parking spot and I still get a signal! Strange as it's the same antenna I'm using...only changed the module
Def worth it to switch to the XM module if you had this issue.
