Single Exhaust ????

Hey guys . i was at the car hang outs here in my area and i was lookiing at some g35s that the owners put single exhaust n looks sick . i was wondering how it would look on an fx and how good it would do performance wise. would it give more power than a dual ? is it possible to do on a fx ? and also maybe a photo shop would be cool to see how it would look on an fx ? what you guys think

yea your right about that . but if the performance iss way better on a single than on dual might be worth trying to make a custom bak with none or one cut out . remembering back to when i had my s2000 switching to single exhaust was way better then to dual .

Our exhausts are already single and not a true dual. It only has dual outlets from the muffler. Even my nismo is a single.

yeaa but even just the outlet being single it should make a difference compared to the dual outlet .

i did a Greddy Ti-C on my 350Z with a bumper tuck and it looked very well. I can't imagine the position of the tip on the FX, wherever you put it, it's gonna look lonely. as far as back pressure goes, you're gonna feel the car go faster the same way you felt when you put a new air intake on the FX. To summarize it, Don't DO IT.

yeaa i might give it try . i think il be the only one . never seen an fx with a single not even on the forum . n idk it might even look a lil ricey . a single exhaust on an suv ! lol so idk . maybe if i see a photoshop n it looks good il give it a try .

I'm sure somewhere in Japan someone who imported an FX has a single exhaust on it.

Try mounting one temporarily (not actually connecting it) and see if you like how it looks. If you do then try and and take lots of pics to share with us.

Awsome chop Pman! I think the single will look funny because of the dual dimples in the bumper IMO

Just make sure you also put the exhaust tip going out on an angle too.

I say do it. Dare to be different. Many guys run the Agency Power Ti on their Zs on my 350z.com and have great results. I also believe the canister is angled. Dare to be different... I've used quite a few z parts on my fx 

you're gonna need a custom made bumper for this set up to fit in, you can't just slap an angled exhaust tip and call it a day....already looks like a $$$ project.
