Side view mirror puddle light mod?

Has anyone seen or considered replacing the led in the side view mirror puddle lights with the projector infiniti logo? I know these typically go underneath the door but I think it would look nice to see them illuminate from the mirrors.

I was trying to find some pictures of what the inside of that mirror where the led is looks like to see how much custom work there would be.

Essentially the idea is to take these lights:


and turn them into something like this...


Any input about cautions or voltages appreciated!

I just installed the projectors in the bottom of the door. I like them, but they don't fit the Q70 so they can be where I put my feet. I have to project the logo in front of the door.
