Should I try for a new dashboard?

So I was wondering if I should try for the dash replacement.I only have some small bubbles around the air vents on both the passenger and drivers side, not sure if Infiniti would agree to fix this since it’s not major? I have an 04 so I would need to do it this year(8years). My concerns are that some have said the new dash looks different and may not match other parts of the dash (black) like the cassette deck cover etc... I also have an annoying dash squeak in the center of the dash near the windshield. Not sure if getting a new dash would fix this as well or not. Any thoughts from those of you that have had the dash replaced. I have the extended Elite warranty but I understand this doesn’t cover squeaks and rattles.

It matches after 6 months, the new dash has a rough surface similiar to sand paper, and yes they will replace the dash. I had one tiny bubble by the ac vent. The squeak will still be there, cause the dash does not reach down by the windshield..

My review after 6-9 months of new dash and allot of sunny days is that the roughness is kind of gone. Seems like the sun burned it off
 
Yeah, I would get it replaced before it's too late. Better mismatch than bubbles in my mind.
 
I've gone thru 2 already, and this latest one is a lot better material than the original and the first replacement. I dont see any cons about it, I mean its only gonna get worse and Summers coming. If you're still within the time frame for it, I say get it replaced.
 
I say do it and push it through
Even if time frame is up try harder to get it done .... When the condition worsens it will look disgusting
I remember seeing a photo somewhere here with disfigured looking photo that stull give me nightmares thinking about it

Guys i think you are just lucky having FX in US!! I got mine 2006 in Middle East and they refused to replace mine :at-wits-end:. They told me the warranty is expired!! Its only 72 months!! I have seen a letter here in this site saying 96 months i think.


Any suggestion :bulgy-eyes:
 
Can you perhaps email Infiniti customer care in the mid East? There gas to be a representative for that part of the world.

I did and that what they told me [72 months]!!! I even showed them the letter but they said the warranty is diff from country to another!! This very frustrating like this is factory defect and its same all FX around the world !

If the dealer told you that, then get it confirmed by Infiniti in writing. If dealer doesn't comply then ask Infiniti if they can send you a dash to a shop of your choice for the installation.
