finally invested in my first starter camera... BB Storm just wasnt cutting it... :iS: really got me interested in photography... so ill start with my ride.

what mode are you shooting with?

And btw... I shoot Sony Alphas too (a350/a550), tho I would rather say "Minolta" instead of Sony Alpha lol
 
working on the drop

i was in auto mode for these pics... im a complete newb with these types of camera :confused.:... thought Sony 230 was a good bang for the buck
 
thanks trainer... yes, jpgs right now... heard about RAW being better quality images... im still tweakin my new toy and im sure the vids will help... anyone else know what cool things i can do with this type of camera, is there a thread?

WOW, is it that bad on the drop? i want, i want.... hopefully soon:smile (2):

tails done with VHT night shades... holding real well and very happy... prep and time is required but easy, other option is to use a smoked tint wrap but couldnt find products local or online?... will have more pics.

Looks good B45 - If you drop it have 20-25mm spacers ready for install as well.....kind of the visual one-two punch with an OEM wheel set-up.

it's not that RAW has better quality images, but it's the ability to tweak the pics afterwards that gives RAW it's advantages.

as for threads? I would lurk in the photography forums for more expertise. Honestly? I've learned a lot from watching YouTube vids. (I'm still learning).

forums/sites you might want to look into are: Dyxum (Sony Alpha users forum), Flickr (join groups like "Sony Alpha owners group"), pbase.com has example pics of just about any lens you want to see.

in YouTube, search "Photography, dSLR tips, Aperture priority, speed priority, "bokeh", DOF (Depth of Field)"
