Shocks and struts

Should have mounted the strut assembly onto car first and turn the assembly so that it lines up with the knuckle will be the easiest. If you plan to replace the suspension in other cars, I would recommend buying the one I posted above from ebay for $140. You get your money back in two use. :wink:
 
Hey guys, I have a question. I ordered struts for the fx because i was hearing a hollow knocking sound, like a leaked out strut sound, from the drivers side tire when on uneven road. But today I noticed that the sound is not there when I apply the brakes on uneven road. I know I should have looked at it before I ordered struts, but I was sure its the strut... I will look at it tomorrow, but I was just wondering if you guys had something like this before? How can I diagnose a bad strut without taking it out? Thanks.
