Hi everyone, Just wanted some suggestions or reasons why my SES light went off by itself.
Trouble happened a couple of months ago..The SES, slip and VDC lights came on..Checked the codes and it was the crank and cam sensors..Replaced all 3 sensors and then 2 days later the lights came back on..Checked the codes again and it said the Cam sensors..bank 1..Changed that one again and again after a day the lights came back on.Some members on this great forum told me to check the connecters as they might be clogged up or the wiring and finally check the ECU for any signs of water..Checked the ECU and no signs of water but my mechanic had to go out of town for a while so he couldn't check the connecters or wiring..Reset the computer but again 3 days later the friggin lights come on for the third time..BUT as I was driving around for a coulpe of days and waiting for my mechanic to come back..The SES light went out and the car is running great now..Is that strange? One member also suggested it could have been the computer getting used to the new sensors..What do u guys think? Any possibilities why the SES went off by itself as we know it can only be reset by computer..Waiting to hear some reasons why? Thanx again
