Okay, so even after countless warnings and being extra careful, I managed to forget to re-connect the MAF sensor plug after tinkering around with my intake. Soooooo now my check engine light is on, and it's totally my fault and I'm reeeeeeeeeeally annoyed!!
Is there any way to reset the ECU to get the light to turn off without taking it to the dealership? Cuz that would be a pain in the ass and I would have to put my stock air box back in so they don't try to void my warranty for any future repairs (I still have about 6 months left of full bumper-to-bumper). I heard you can reset it by pressing the brake pedal a bunch of times and disconnecting the battery. Any truth to this?
Any advice would be much appreciated, as my friend has the same problem with his G35...
