SEMA 2012 / Vegas

I'll be there 1 or 2 days, but haven't decided which days yet. And I for one am glad its during the week. It's a great work thing but busier than all hell. There is so much to do and see, it's almost hard to have fun too.

Yeah, I saw your post earlier re. that. Not like I was up to much last year . . falling asleep at the slot machines, lol  Hopefully sleep the night before this time around

Looks like we got a little mini meet going then. We should plan something out. I plan on Tues/Wed. One nighter, but it's Vegas . . Still be tired on the return

Yep, I'll be driving there for what is looking like Wednesday-Thursday.
My business is Design, Product Development, Prototyping, and Pre-Manufacturing of parts.
I'm looking forward to the show and very little sleep.

I might go, but the wife was already pissed at what she saw at the Vegas bikefest (http://free.bikerpics.org/LAS-VEGAS...-Davidson-WET/14005581_jGU64#1030157509_PyVmx
Anywho I just got a free stay at the Rio on the 2nd and Ima suggest this expo.

I wouldnt worry 'bout that at all. It's a much more pro event. It's all about business at SEMA. Chicks signing posters, but I'd say 99% of those that go are there for the cars.
The biggest issue one might have is getting in if ya dont have a badge already. Besides it costing $75- at the door (ealy reg was 25), one needs to prove that they're industry related w/ a bus card, invoice, etc. This is not a 'for public' convention.

Viet,

What party(s), if any, for Tues. nite can you share?

I probably do 2-3 conventions in Vegas each year. Work can be exhausting, but Vegas is always a kick. Even the nerdiest of all conventions in Vegas have some kind of "special feel." Other So Cal conventions can't even touch the fun in Vegas.
So, when the topic is cars and cutting edge technology, count me in! I'm all over it. That's what make work fun and more productive.
I'm excited to see all the new products hitting the automotive marketplace.

"Sausages, yes. But hot cars galore. And that's just the daytime!"
