seeking recommended hitch installers in socal

If this is an OEM unit... I think it just bolts right up. Also, you will need the power harness if one wasn't given to you.

i live in fountain valley, we can surely do it together if you need help.
its not hard to install that i would think.
mainly straight bolt onto the bumper isnt it?

Some bolt right up and some you have to drill holes. I had to drill 2 holes into the aluminum bumper beam and fish two bolts through the beam into the two holes drilled. Two holes are factory drilled with nuts welded onto the other side.

not oem. its a curt manufacturing hitch made for the fx. i'm waiting for the install hardware kit to arrive. but as bklynjohn says, i'm suppose to drill holes and fish some bolts thru the beam. not real sure i want to play the fishing game yet.

dopie, i appreciate ur offer but i don't believe i have the right tools and jacks to install it. unless u do. haha.... am also gonna check to see what my mechanics would charge. just they are eurocar bigots and wouldn't install my spacers & eibachs. :k:

thx everyone so far!

took me about 2 hrs to install mine. Had to lower the exhaust and all the clips that hold the cover over the exhaust. You mount up the hitch to the factory bolts and when you do that, you use the hitch as a template to drill the other 2 holes right/left side. Fish bolts in, tighten up, reinstall clips and your done.
