Hi all,

I found an oil leak on my 07 FX35 the other day. Looks like the leak is coming from a rubber hose thats running from the oil filter adapter. I took a pic of it but realized I dont have the post count to post up the pic yet. I Looked at some various online Infiniti parts sites but none of them show it. Does anyone have a part number for that? Its a rubber hose that runs below the adapter to a metal hose on the front of the engine.

Also, which websites offer Infiniti OEM parts at discount prices?

I'm pretty sure but I can look again. I cleaned it all up last weekend and looked under there last night and saw oil coming from the hose. I didnt crawl underneath to see if there was anything leaking from elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies.

Your ultimate reference for reliable part numbers is Infiniti USA eStore: http://parts.infinitiusa.com/
where you can browse for parts by car model or even better by VIN#, detailed drawings make it very easy to locate parts.

I did a quick search with your car model 2007 FX35 AWD, and the part you are looking for is 21306-AQ805, that is the lower hose coming from the bottom of the oil filter assembly, check it out with your VIN and confirm.

My initial thought when mine was leaking oil was that it was the hose as well but it turned out to be the oil cooler o ring. The hose you are referring to attaches just below the oil cooler to the oil cooler and will drip onto that hose. As I said before this o ring leak is pretty common.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I may end up replacing majority of the stuff around the oil cooler: gasket, o-ring, upper and lower hoses.
