Second try for first FX

Hi Everyone,

Not sure who will remember but i posted a while back about possibly buying a 2003 fx and after further thinking decided to wait for something better. Another deal has come up and so I come here once again looking for your advice.

The car in question is a Silver 2008 FX35, Premium, Sport, and Touring packages (Has navi and everything)... Fully loaded. RWD. The car has 47K miles on it. The car looks to be in excellent condition (it was a lease return and comes with the service records) The guy is asking 25k and doesn't seem to want to go below that. He says it is still under warranty for another 2 years or 75k miles.

Do you guys think this is a good deal? I'm not worried about the rwd vs awd because it doesn't snow where i live and i wont be doing off roading with the car.

It's a decent deal not screaming (22k would be) but for a fully loaded 08 you're not getting ripped of either. A few details to keep an eye out for are scratches and scuffs on paint, interior wear and tear, tire depth, etc. if there are some minor issues try to push for a lower price. And keep us posted
 
Thanks for the replies everyone. The car looked clean inside/out, but when the guy showed me the carfax it turns out the car had been in an accident. The carfax showed possible structural/frame damage reported. That was the deal breaker for me, regardless of how it looked now.
