Just got out of my 2006 FX35 and my drivers seat "popped" on the left side and it felt like it broke off somewhere. Any ideas? Not sure if there's an air compressor there or what but it sags now when I'm seated. Is this covered under bumper to bumper warranty? Thanks for any help.

It runs on a motor. Does the seat still move? It may have popped off the guiding rail and the motor may be fine or a seat bracket broke. Either case I don't think you will still be under warranty as you have a 2006, unless you have an extended warranty.

Yes, I have the extended warranty. I'll try to move it, thanks

ok, seat moves by motor so can I assume it came off track?

Pm'd. For future reference unless its a private matter, please post questions in the forum so all may benefit and more can contribute and help.
Hope you get this resolved.

I have a similar problem ... I've always felt a kink in my driver seat when moving it back and forward. Finally the fore/aft switch stop working ... the seat will not move. The dealer looked and said it was a rail/motor problem and it would cost $1100.00 to repair. They said the extended warranty won't cover it. Does this sound legit?
