Seat Belt Tag is tattered and flaps in the wind

I've seen this in other FXs and wonder what the best thing to do is. The seatbelt tag on the passenger's side has become attached to the belt on only one side and looks terrible. The edges are frayed and it flaps in the wind when the windows are open.

What should I do to fix it? Should I just take scissors to it and call it a day? Or is there anything else I could do. It looks terrible, especially on a nice car like the FX.

just kidding... I'd cut them off if it were me.

Buy a new seatbelt :P
