SCiS - Cargo Box rent or loan for members

I was thinking ahead to the summer travel season and I may be in the market for a roof top cargo box. I want the handy storage, but I'm less than excited about storing it when not in use. I figure my thoughts are common in the cargo box world.
Is there a SoCal Infinitiscene member who owns a cargo box and is willing to rent it out to another responsible and friendly member?
If I do end up buying one later this year, I will likely offer if up to be used by other members.
Any thoughts from anybody?

Turning around and selling is an option I didn't think of, but I don't think I'd hassle it for one use. I'd save the trouble and make due without it. Good thinking though!
If I owned one, I think I'd use it 1-3 times a year. These would all be just for convenience. A situation where I really NEED it would be rare.

Well noted! And, you and I are only a couple miles apart.
Truth is, I haven't searched much lately for a good buy. I'll keep you in mind for random pending trips.
