I had just got a stock one from ebay.... and Rookie asked for a semi stock FX for the comparison, so I went down to Gils pad Friday night and let him use the ebay one.

That is correct. My FX was not judged, it was there as a demo car. Mainly to show the difference from a street car and a show car.

Thanks much Doc. I shot with the 5D MKI with a 24-70mm. The 24mm seems to be wide enough for cars. I was looking into renting a EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM but decided not to. Would be fun to play with it but don't really think I need it.......right now:wink:
 
When did you get the 5D? And yea the 16-35 is a great wide angle lens. You are getting VERY good!

Thax again for the complement. It helps as motivation to keep shooting.

Got a used 5DI in November, right around the time the 5DII was introduced. Some started dumping there's for the new model. Photographer in Hollywood bought it new 6 months prior, with 4K actuation's. Sold to me for $1300. I couldn't pass the deal up.

I want that lens! but at $1300 used I'm gonna have to wait.

Awesome deal you there Gil, congrats! My 30D suits my needs for the time being but will like to get a full frame eventually when my son starts playing organized sports.
