I realize some of these threads are pretty old but they are still relevant, especially for newer owners like myself. The original poster may have long since departed with his FX but this thread is a very good reference that lives on. Lots of detailed install pics for the front aero protector.....and the link still works! I have all of the aero kit parts, just need to get the side skirts painted in my color. I considered installing it myself but I know I'll never get around to it, realistically. I called my local Infiniti dealer just to see what they would say on cost. Called their body shop first and they said I should call the service department for the install. That was strange, I thought. But OK, I spoke with a service advisor and he didn't know what the aero kit was and at first said he couldn't quote me a price. Then he "looked" on his computer and came up with a quote of $900.00 to install the aero kit. I immediately knew what was happening. I think he didn't know what I had and didn't really care to be bothered with it so he quoted a ridiculously high price just to make me go away. So since I had to get the side skirts painted anyway I asked another body shop if they could install the kit. He said how he typically handles those is just by charging $50.00/hr for the labor. I said OK since that's a lot more reasonable. It should take no more than 5 hours so that's a lot better than $900.00. We'll see how it goes.
