RWD or AWD

That's what I mean. Most of those guys are sharks. The day before, they were selling the Ford Focus , & the girls just sell with their tits  . . so who cares if they know how big the motor is

i know what you mean dave, but if your selling a product you should at least know something about what your selling, it seems like dealers are hiring nobodys of the streets nowadays to sell cars

Not completely accurate robb, if you're selling a product, you should know something about your buyer . . apparently, the half-a-brain-moonlighting-brass-pole-dancing-sales-hoochie has that area pretty well covered . . I mean the buyer, not the boobies

damn...some sales people don't really know much about the cars they are selling, i had to point out a few things to some sales people when i was searching for the right fx like one guy didn't even know it had a 3.5l engine and the size of the rims :err:

I don't think I've ever met a car salesman that knew more about their product than I did, until I bought the FX. My Infiniti guy was awesome. He was an Infiniti enthusiast himself (turbo'ed Gcoupe owner) and knew the product inside and out. He gave me an excellent delivery presentation that was extremely thorough, educational and professional.

Most dealerships hire anybody that walks in off the street. It helps if you are breathing, possess a HS diploma and have an IQ higher than 45. But if not, no big deal, they just make you sales manager. Some of the most stupid and incompetent people I have ever met have worked in car sales. On the flip side, there are also many extremely professional sales people in the industry. But unfortunately they are in the minority.

I always buy cars from hot chicks. last thing I need is schooling on the car while I'm test driving. Just rather talk about the weather . . & maybe the perfume she's wearing . . hmmm . . "I think I notice you're wearing strawberry scent . .very familiar" . . & then she shows you her brown star! OOpps

Thanks to everyone who chimed in - And as for the search, since there's a 3 limit, finding topics that say 2wd awd didn't do much.

The VIN will be perfect!

When searching 3 letter words, for instance: HKS

Search it like this: *HKS* or for AWD: *AWD*

* = Wild

Awd id

HI:

Youll need the key for this, when you start the car it says AWD on the insrtument cluster. Also the front wheels are connected to a spindle rod thingy. I like the VIN "W" I.D., Ill check that right now. Hope this helps.

I think a quick way of checking for AWD is looking at the engine.

See Pic Below... 2 Wires AWD, 1 Wire RWD (not sure how correct this is, but I notice all AWD have two).

^^^^ bumping this thread for a quick way of checking AWD...

Do all AWD owners have the 2 wires posted above?
Do any RWD owners have the 2 wires posted above?

I know that the 2 wires come from the battery.

I don't think I have either of those wires.
Wait, maybe I do just have one. Uploading a pic.

Front wheel speed sensor to determine slip? Or something to the front transfer case? I'd go look around, but I keep getting fingerprints on my hood from closing it.

without actually looking, if what your saying is correct, I'd say it has to be a harness to the transfer case I'd think...
